The ACES Vietnam team consists of devoted educators, led by Prof. Hoang Thi Bich Thuy through the Dynamic Lab for Innovation and Transformational Entrepreneurship (D-Lab), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). Joining ACES project, the multi-disciplinary team with people from science, technology, business and education will take advantage of the playfulness approach and educational 4.0 to create a transformative methodology for Vietnam educational reform.
Established to initiate UK-VN higher educational partnership (HEP) 2018 and 2019, D-Lab aimed at the development of entrepreneurship and creative skills for Vietnam technological and scientific students. The D-Lab team has been developing rapidly and attracting greater concerns about Vietnam educational reform, particularly sustainable higher educational development. With solid technological background members and newly recruited experts in education, the Vietnam team is enthusiastically joining the UK team and other teams in ACES project to create an effective pedagogical methodology combining playfulness and education 4.0.

Prof. Hoang Thi Bich Thuy

Assoc. Prof. HOANG Thi Bich Thuy is a senior lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). She has more than 25 years of teaching and doing research related to the chemical engineering field at HUST. She is also the co-founder and head of the Dynamic Lab for Innovation and Transformational Entrepreneurship (D-Lab). Her current R&D interests focus on innovative education and transformative technologies to support the achievement of sustainable development goals in Vietnam. Prof. Thuy Hoang is the Co-Investigator of the ACES project, leading Vietnam team.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Thom Thom
Researcher
Dr. Thi Thom Thom Nguyen has been working as a lecturer at the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS-VNU) since 2002. She is a master trainer in a range of teacher training projects conducted by VNU, the National Foreign Languages Project – Ministry of Education and Training, the British Council and the U.S. Embassy. She is also a key researcher in the ACES Vietnam Team. Her research interests include Teacher Professional Development, Emotional Intelligence, Playful & Frugal Education, and Community-centred educational models.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen
Engineer
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen has more than 13 years of teaching and doing research at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on the electrochemical sensor, metal surface treatment technology and metal recovery and environmental treatment by electrochemical technique. She is also working on innovative education and transformative entrepreneurship to support the achievement of sustainable development goals in Vietnam. She is a research assistant on the ACES Vietnam Team. Her research interests include Creative Activity and Playful & Frugal Education.
